Perhaps more Gucci/Prada than LV.
The people who were really in love with LV were shaggyfish and manman.


That is until i saw this in a fashion blog i read.
I always prefer this damier series more than any of the collections.
Even the trademade collection is not really my cup of tea.


Got my damier koala wallet abt 2yearsback.
Never really used it cos i was so scared i might lose it. HAHA.
(i got my Prada wallet stolen, heart pain pls).


But now the damier neverfull bag is gonna be out!

I havent step in to the boutique since like last x'mas so i am not sure if it retails in SG.
But the last i heard it's only available in Hawaii and Japan.
And it'll be released worldwide soon.


Since 2 of my good friends are returning from Europe, was thinking of asking them to get for me.
But Justin gave me a long hard lecture of how i should pay so much for a bag.
And made me feel so so so guilty to spend that much money on a bag where people are jobless.
And how 1 more bag wouldnt make a difference to me, and if i were to donate the money, how much it would mean to them...


Grrrr... I hate feeling guilty.
Plus i am saving up for my trip to US too.

So what if i dont do well?

My life isnt all about grades and whatsnot.

I dont need a cert to validate who I am.

I will just take things as it goes.

Frankly speaking, i am too lazy to update and am so swamped with work.

Never needed an audience to begin with.

Not that i had much anyway. Haha.

Alright, the next few weeks will be the most hectic of all.

And so i got back my sewing assignment.
I was very proud of it cos it was my hard work.
I planned, i did my paper pattern, i did my prototype.

But I got a C+ for it though.
My very first C+ in NIE.
Should i be happy, should i be sad?
To say i am not sad is to lie.
But thankfully i didnt expect much in the first place, so i wasnt that diappointed to be honest.

But i am contented! :)
I will just try harder next time i suppose.
:)

Anyway, on a very random note.
I hate how emo and sentimental i can get sometimes. Haha.
Just came home and read the emails from my class girls, and it's enough to make me teary. Cos it struck a cord. Haha.

Darlings... I was in the middle of the worst day and filled with all the

we will always be here for each other..I can't wait to meet all of u in
sentosa.. I pray that jenny does not force me to finish up her potato salad
again and raji and sj will join for our annual sea volley ball.. that will be
guided by our last year champions... man man, mama and ja pop jenny.. Love

A bit drama la the email.
But really.
They bring nothing but joy into my life! :)
Couldnt be any more thankful for them coming into my life and their never-ending support, love and friendship.

I appreciate it so so much!
And now that i am all alone in NIE, I just miss them even more than ever.

Yes she was right.
Practical sessions used to be very fun for us.
I wasnt the best, but at least i was capable of preparing decent stuff.

But now, practical sessions are opposite.
It brings me nothing but stress. And fear.
Each time i see the dreaded name in my email, i just feel like deleting it.
From loving to cook to now even hating it so much.
That's what i have become.

But well, it's okay.
You see, at the end of the day, your happiness lies in your own hand.

People can say anything they want, because it's their mouth.
But you can choose to feel how you want to feel about what was said, because it's your heart.

I've learnt to turn a blind eye and a deaf eye.
I couldnt care less anymore.
I learnt it the hard way, but at least i did.
Right now, i just cant wait to get out of the shithole school.

I wont be updating this space any time soon.

Okay, i have a huge problem with my printer.
Each time i send a print job to it, it keeps telling me 'spooling'.
Wth is that?!

My sickness is very predictable.
It often starts with headache -> fever -> flu -> sore throat -> cough.

So usually when i have a headache, i am careful to take care and not let it progress. But then this time round, all three came together. In order to not get sore throat, i am drinking so much water that i pee almost every 30mins. Haha. Anything to get well soon! Besides, i have alot of work to be done.

So finally, crawl out of bed to have dinner.
And check my mail.
My brain cant function to do work.
So just did some readings for next week lessons.

1) I am having a headache and flu now. What a way to waste my weekend. :(

2) I need to go to arab street/chinatown to buy cloth. But i think the former pls, dun think i can survive the CNY crowd.

3) I really hate sewing. And i cant sew for nuts.

4) My nose is running like a tap. I look very silly stuffing two tissue in my nose. But it's absolutely necessary.

5) I miss my brother! He will be back in another week for 2 days before flying off again.

7) My mum is gonna kill me. I havent started on my spring cleaning yet.


8) Wanted to leave the carnival at 6pm. But surprisingly, the entertainment was really good!!! Plus the games were really really fun. Who would have thought that Hui Jing would love the bouncing castles. Haha. Played $100 worth of games with Sunitha, July and Jerome. Left school only at 9pm. HAHA.

9) Went for meowmeow's bday party after that. Finally get to see my friends! :)

10) Had a great time playing taboo. So so soooo funny. Cant wait to play with AST!

11) My laptop is so annoying. What's wrong with it? It's keeps saying 'ReadyBooster is not working". I check on the net, it's something related to vista programme. Seriously, vista is very very problematic!!!

14) Had lunch on sat with TL, Patty, Christina at Suki Sushi. I love jap food, i love salmon sashimi! I miss Sun with Moon. I miss my tofu cheese cake! I miss shingo, my food buddy. I always feel so guilty not catching up with him. He's one of the people i had most fond memories with in TP. Hope you're doing well whereever you are Shingo!


15) I want to watch Changeling!!! Firstly, there's Angelina Jolie. Next, it's based on a true story. Third, there's 1920s fashion in it. After doing my research on it, i cant wait to see 'real clothes' in action.


16) My lips are getting very very dry ever since going back to NIE. I hate the air there! And my lip balm is gone. I have no time to buy. Sigh, i am depressed.

17) My head really feel like bursting! Feel like chopping off my nose and head now! argh argh argh. And i still have alot of work to do for next week, cant afford to fall sick!

18) JW was telling me how the session at dbl o again. They asked me but i couldnt make it. Besides, i really dun like dbl o. Apparently, there was a merlion showdown. I am sorry to say, i am not amused at all. Some people think it's damn cool to drink until they get dead drunk and puke all over the place. But what's so cool about that? It's really beyond me. To me, it's just plain disgusting. And smelly. I know i am always such a spoiler la. But really, drinking as if there's no tomorrow is not my thing. Yes i drink, but i know my limits.

I have this amazing new Geog lecturer, and i love her to bits.
For the first 10 weeks of first sem, i didnt understand ANYTHING that was taught.
Until she came in and took over our tutorial sessions, and for once, i actually begin to like Geog!

And now that Noella and I knows that she will be taking our lecture time slots,
we are so so delighted!

So anyway, i was just printing the notes for next monday's lesson.

It's only the 2nd week of school next week but assignments are already due.

I think the one i am most afraid of is my sewing module.

I was so happy i got a C for my sewing back in TP but now looks like i am in deep shit huge trouble.

3 bags to be sewn

5 dresses to be made

1 final exam

Gosh, it's really very heavy!

Plus not forgetting, i have another 2 modules that are not exams-based.

So this sem, alot more coursework to do as well.

Sigh sigh sigh.

A quick 5 points entry

1) SAF sent a CNY hamper to my place to thank my parents for allowing my brother to train in NZ. As if he has a choice...

2) Went to this restaurant at Holland V with Noella to try Lebanese food as research for my upcoming practical. The both of us havent tried Lebanese food before so we decided! After all, if i am going to prepare, i need to know how it tastes like what. Nice ambience and great time chilling out. So okay, lebanese food is so not my thing. I think i only ate 40% of the food we ordered. HAHA.

3) My cousin is flying off to San Francisco this Friday! So this weekend is the last weekend in SG. And i totally forget that Friday is also Meowmeow's bday. Okay, we will see how.

4) Went to TP Alumni Night at Fort Canning yesterday. The same place my classmate held her wedding reception 2 weeks earlier. Saw loads of old friends and familar faces. Saw some of my advisors and lectuers (Mdm Lau!) too. I miss TP!

5) Went back to TP to use the library. The library is a great resource place. 11 stories of books. I can live there man. Haha. So it was open house today, i really miss campus life. I miss the days where we did silly things like Billy Blanja and those nonsense cheers. And having so much fun in a group. When i went back today, i felt so old. These kids are at like 17 years old? A good 4 years younger than me! Haha.

Miss Chin got me a gift, from Catherine Lim, one of the authors i used to read, before getting started on those bimbo-chick-lit. A Leap of Love. Caught the movie when it was released last year, with Li Lin as the leading actress. Very romantic show. And i didnt know the movie was based on a book! Haha. So yes, now i cant wait to read the book, because i always believe that movie adaptations from books are never as good as the original. So thank you very much Miss Chin! Didnt expect it once again! Thank you very much!! =)

So alright, next week is another busy week ahead!
